How will I know the status of my files?

A: We understand that your knowledge of the status is key!  We email weekly updates on your entire pipeline as well as individual file updates at the following stages:

  • Appraisal received 
  • Approval
  • Docs are being ordered
  • HUD-1 completed
  • Funding 

Of course, we will be in constant contact with you, so feel free to ask us for status updates at any time.

Q: What are your turn times?

A: Once we receive a file we send compliance documents, order services (appraisal, title, etc.) and set up the loan within 24 hours.  From then on we anticipate and carefully track when documents and information will be required and proactively collect them before they are due.

Q: Will my processing team deal directly with my borrowers and/or real estate agents?

A: Yes.  With the loan originator's permission we will contact all parties in the transaction to obtain documentation and keep them updated on status.  Because we work for you, we will always identify ourselves as your assistant or processor, not a contract processing company.  This lets borrowers know they are in the capable hands of you and your team.

Q: How do I get my file to you?

A: You can either email, fax or mail your file.  We prefer files and documentation by email, but know that there are times it might not be possible. 

Q: Will I be charged if my loan doesn't close?

A: NO!  You will never be charged for cancelled files.
